Colorado Tech Weekly #33: Volunteering, court battles and new things

Colorado Tech Weekly Binary FlagColorado Tech Weekly brings you the top 10  technology stories of the past week and the best upcoming local events every Monday morning!

I don’t remember making any New Year’s resolutions about volunteering, but if I had I’d be doing a great job following through on those resolutions. Last week I mentioned that I volunteered to help run and promote Colorado Technology Association’s C-Level at Mile High. If you’re looking to get your foot in the door of Colorado’s tech industry, I don’t know why you wouldn’t want to volunteer for this event.

In following through on a New Year’s resolution that I DID make, I went to a PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) meeting at my daughter’s elementary school last week. I ended up volunteering to help monitor the computer lab after school on Tuesdays. I’m excited to help kids with their online homework while I work on my own.

Now to volunteer some interesting news…
